Kantaar – Konkani Feature Film

You are invited to attend the Canadian screening of Kantaar a Konkani feature film written by, Nilesh Malkar, and produced by Janet Noronha…

The story-line revolves around the themes of unpredicted family episodes, recovery, and finding purpose in life. The production premiered in Jan 2019 and is Malkar and Noronha’s second major work in Konkani.

The film features Lorna singing a number of jazz songs, and stars Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff. The lead characters, Ester Noronha and Noel Sean, are known for their acting and singing skills. The cast incorporates local tiatrists including Luis Bachan, Domnic, and the comedic Sally and Velrose Pereira.
